This webinar will provide an update of the used textiles industry and will address its many and sometimes complicated aspects, including collection, processing, packaging, exportation and reuse.

For a year Eureka Recycling studied two different methods of outreach and collection to identify which methods had the best participation and the least environmental and financial cost. They will share their most recent research on used textile collection and program promotion.

In addition, hear from Arc's Value Village’s Thrift Manager on how thrift stores manage textiles and recent trends of textile recycling and reuse include how "fast fashion" has influenced the Arc's Value Village thrift stores.

Presented by:
Miriam Holsinger, Eureka Recycling
Greg Rue, Arc's Value Village

Facilitated by: Todd Tanner, U of MN Waste Recovery Services
