JENNY KEDWARD (she/her)
Hennepin County

Jenny Kedward is a wasted food prevention specialist for Hennepin County. She has been talking trash professionally for nearly two decades and is passionate about waste management and reducing our consumption. She now gets to focus her work on preventing food waste and feeding people. She has been a part of Reuse Minnesota since 2017, including several years as Board President. She currently leads the Membership Team and helps with strategic planning.

She chose to get her bachelor’s degree in biology to fully understand the world she wanted to protect. Kedward is trained in social marketing and uses her enthusiasm to educate residents on altering shopping habits and using what we have. Through changing consumption habits and developing a more mindful system, she believes we can protect our air, water, and land.

Reuse Minnesota was founded in 2012 and is a member-based nonprofit that supports repair, resale, and rental businesses, bringing visibility to the reuse sector as a means to lower our state's impact on the environment.
