Minnesota Pollution Control Agency

Annika currently works at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), focusing on waste prevention and reuse policy and programming to improve sustainable materials management across the state. Prior to working for the State of Minnesota, she was a consultant at Optum, primarily staffing client projects as a program manager, product owner, and/or business analyst. She has an MA in Sustainable Design from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD), and completed her undergraduate degrees in Environmental Studies and Economics at St. Olaf College.


Reuse Minnesota was founded in 2012 and is a member-based nonprofit that supports repair, resale, and rental businesses, bringing visibility to the reuse sector as a means to lower our state's impact on the environment.
