EMMA PARDINI (she/her)
Western Lake Superior Sanitary District

Emma is an Environmental Program Coordinator at Western Lake Superior Sanitary District in Duluth, MN. In that role, Emma provides education, communications, and program development aimed at improved waste reduction and recycling in WLSSD's 530 square mile region. These programs include Community Education recycling classes, bi-monthly Fix-It Clinics, waste amnesty Community Clean-Out events, Waste-Free Event Kits, and film plastic recycling education initiatives. She serves as Sustainability Chair of Duluth Superior EcoRotary Club and as a Green Team Finish Line Captain for Grandma's Marathon. Emma holds a Master's Certificate in Environmental Education from University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing of Fiction from Northwestern University.

Reuse Minnesota was founded in 2012 and is a member-based nonprofit that supports repair, resale, and rental businesses, bringing visibility to the reuse sector as a means to lower our state's impact on the environment.
