Are you a real estate professional looking to increase your understanding of sustainability within your sector?
Details: This in-person class introduces real estate agents to reuse-related resources that they can pass along to their clients. While many people think sustainability requires new "green" products, reused materials are our best option to reduce our carbon emissions and energy usage. This class equips real estate professionals with the most up-to-date resources in Minnesota's reuse economy. You will learn where to find reuse and repair resources, how to best share information with clients, and why reuse is essential to building a more sustainable future.
Participants are invited to bring a lunch. Beverages will be provided by Stearns History Museum.
There will be no virtual option for joining this class.
Instructor: Emily Barker, Executive Director of Reuse Minnesota
Professional development stipend: This class is free to anyone who would like to attend. Individuals who are real estate agents or professionals in related fields (such as property management) are eligible for a $25 stipend to attend, upon completion of a brief course evaluation.
This class is being hosted by Stearns History Museum.
This class was developed in partnership with Rethos: Places Reimagined.
This class and participant stipends are made possible through funding provided by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR).
