With over 30 years of experience in redeveloping distressed properties and promoting sustainable building practices, Petrina is a Climate Change ambassador and building materials reuse expert. Formerly the Director of Program Development alongside Will Steger, she has actively educated audiences on "building green." As an alum of Summit Academy's Carpentry Apprentice program, Petrina currently owns and operates the Birch Group and Scrapbox Salvage Company in Minneapolis, emphasizing the importance of deconstruction in reducing the city's carbon footprint.
