Rita is the Waste Management Administrator for Dodge County in Southeast Minnesota. She has worked in the government solid waste industry since 2008. Reuse has always been a passion of hers which is now coming to fruition. Rita does recycling education, solid waste enforcement, department financials, solid waste reporting and now developing the Dodge County Renovation ReUse building. Through the reuse facility, Rita has built a partnership with Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity ReStore for sending acceptable items to their facility in Rochester and part of the building will be for sale of other goods to customers with proceeds going to keep the building available in their community.
