EMILY NOYES (she/they)
Reuse Minnesota Vice President
Hollow Oak Consulting
Seven Dreams Education Foundation

Rooted in both academic training and on-the-ground practice, Emily has worked with nonprofits, government agencies, and community organizations to advance initiatives in building reuse, place-based education, and heritage conservation. Their work emphasizes the value of reclaimed materials, the importance of inclusive storytelling in historic preservation, and the need for accessible, community-informed educational opportunities. Emily started Hollow Oak Consulting in 2025, and performs grant writing, educational and program consulting with groups all over Minnesota.

In addition to consulting work, Emily serves as the Executive Director of Seven Dreams Education Foundation, serving the Robbinsdale Area Schools in Hennepin County. Seven Dreams, founded in 2003, is a non-profit education and art organization that provided direct-to-classroom grants for Robbinsdale teachers, along with reuse and repair of instruments for district students.

Reuse Minnesota was founded in 2012 and is a member-based nonprofit that supports repair, resale, and rental businesses, bringing visibility to the reuse sector as a means to lower our state's impact on the environment.
