These events are meant to be swaps, or exchanges. The goal is for residents to replace old items with new ones. So if you plan to bring items for the swap, please look around and take something home!
Items not accepted: VCRs, DVD players, video game consoles, stereos, home recorded videos, mixed tapes or puzzles/games with missing pieces, handheld electronic games, and battery-operated CD players
Acceptable items:
Books: children’s, adult, fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, magazines, etc.
NO damaged items that are unreadable (e.g. missing pages) or outdated textbooks (older than 10 years).
Games: board games, puzzles, video games, handheld electronic games
NO puzzles with missing pieces or video game consoles.
Movies: DVDs, Blu-ray
NO home recorded items, VCRs or DVD players.
Music: CDs, vinyl records, battery-operated CD players
NO home recorded items (e.g. mixed tapes/CDs), cassettes, 8-track tapes, battery-operated CD players or plug-in stereos.
