Registration

  • See Bridging’s mission at work and tour the warehouse; who we are, who we serve, what donations are needed and how to engage and talk about partnership options!

Since 1987, Bridging has furnished more than 100,000 households with HOPE and reduces landfill space by 11 million pounds each year. Bridging’s mission is to empower people to thrive in their homes by providing quality furniture and household goods as they pursue stable housing.
  • Keys 4/4 Kids' Executive Director Grant Dawson will take visitors on a tour of the facility and walk through the steps a piano goes from the moment it is donated to wherever its next life leads. There may even be some music! Keys 4/4 Kids is a Twin Cities-based non-profit that accepts donated pianos and keyboard instruments. Through their programming they seek to provide learning and performing opportunities for young people in our community. You can find them online at k44k.org.
  • On this tour, you will see the inner workings of an electronic waste recycling/refurbishing facility. Repowered is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to proving everyone and everything has value, we do this by giving technology a second run, and the people who restore it a fair chance. By providing affordable electronics and environmental services to our community, we give opportunities to people with barriers to employment. The tour will be led by our EHS Specialist, who can answer questions about e-waste recycling/refurbishment processes, environmental impacts and risks, economic opportunities of e-waste recycling in the Midwest, technological advances in the past decade, limitations/ challenges, activism, our work readiness program, and more!
  • At Scrapbox Salvage, you will gain an understanding of the deconstruction process, and get a behind-the-scenes look at our intake process. You'll learn about our services and we'll share what grants and tax deductions are available for deconstruction projects. Scrapbox Salvage is located in the restored Northwind Lofts built in 1885. We'll share some historical information about the building too!

Preconference site visits

Kick off your REUSE22 Conference experience with one of our member-hosted site visits! These optional tours will give you a behind-the-scenes look at what happens to your items after you donate them. What percentage of items get recycled, landfilled, or reused? What social impact do these organizations have on the community around them? Sign up for one of these site tours to begin learning and networking before the REUSE22 Conference officially starts. Availability is limited, so sign up soon to reserve your spot!

After your site visit, join us at our social hour and kick off celebration at GRAZE provisions + libations from 5:30-7pm! RSVP to attend.
