In this session, you will learn how to define your customer and create your brand. Our speakers will share effective strategies for social media use as well as visual merchandising. You will learn tips on how to incorporate storytelling into your strategy, allowing your customers to engage and connect with your brand on an emotional level.

Meet your presenters:

Lauren Welle

Lauren (they/them) has been working at Architectural Antiques for just over 7 years. Along with helping with sales, display, and shipping at the store, they run the store's social media accounts. Lauren has been sharing Architectural Antiques salvage stories, new inventory, and teaching followers all about the salvage industry. When Lauren isn't working, they enjoy home DIY projects and maintaining their aquariums. @archantiques

Rebecca Sansone

Rebecca (she/her) is the owner of The Mustache Cat, a vintage + modern home goods shop located in Saint Paul. With a passion for home decor and supporting women-owned businesses, Rebecca curates an ever-changing selection of vintage treasures and modern finds from women makers, providing a unique + engaging shopping experience. She is passionate about empowering people with pieces to infuse their personality + interest into their space.

Before launching The Mustache Cat, Rebecca spent several years in the corporate world working in marketing, product management and sales - most recently for Wayfair. When she's not 'picking' items to add to her 100+ year home in Saint Paul or for shop inventory, she can be found hanging with THE Mustache Cat (Bernie), soaking up the sunshine hiking or paddle boarding (a favorite of her rescue lab, Duke), taking a Peloton ride or local yoga/dance class, reading mysteries, or binge watching one of her favorite shoes (recent favorites: Poker Face, Abbott Elementary, Not Dead Yet). @themustachecat.home
