Fix-It Clinic - Western Lake Superior Sanitary District (WLSSD)

  • 2025-03-08
  • 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Duluth Folk School / Dovetail Cafe, 1917 W Superior St, Duluth, MN 55806

Just because it’s broken doesn’t mean it belongs in the trash can! Whether it’s cracked, torn, stained, missing a piece, or just not working properly, broken things can be made good as new with the right skills and tools. WLSSD is partnering with the Duluth Folk School, Duluth Makerspace, and Northern Bedrock Historic Preservation Corps to host Fix-It Clinics where you can learn how to fix your stuff!

What is a Fix-it Clinic?

Fix-It Clinics are events where volunteers with repair skills give free, guided assistance to help you troubleshoot and fix your broken household items. Volunteers specialize in a variety of repair skills, including electronics and small appliances, woodworking and furniture, watches and jewelry, clothing and upholstery, sports and outdoor gear, ceramics, artwork, and more!

Sign up in advance to be paired with a skilled volunteer -- visit wlssd.com/fix-it or call (218) 722-3336 to reserve a time slot and make sure our volunteers are prepared with the right tools and materials to help!

Walk-ins welcome but not guaranteed a time slot!
