Swap - Garden tools (City of Minneapolis Division of Solid Waste & Recycling)

Bring unwanted garden tools, take what you need. You do not need to bring in order to take, or take in order to bring. Free, no drop-offs after 11:30.

Items to bring

  • Garden and yard tools (shovels, trowels, rakes, pitchforks, hoses, hose reels, etc.)
  • Pots and planters (wood, terracotta, decorative plastic) - free of any soil or dirt
  • Potting soil/mix (unused, bagged)
  • Gardening and plant books
  • Garden art and décor
  • Bird houses and feeders (unused or sanitized)

MLK Jr. Park also hosting info on neighborhood-wide garage sales. Additional locations at Lake Hiawatha Park from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. at Kenwood Rec Center in Minneapolis. Additional garden-related activities at Lake Hiawatha and Kenwood. Four other garden tool swap locations at various times the previous Saturday, May 3.
