Elevate your REUSE25 experience with one of our member-hosted site visits!
REUSE25: Community impact site visits are scheduled for Thursday, October 23, 2025. We’re grateful to the Reuse Minnesota members who are generously opening their doors to host these visits. This is a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and see how these organizations are making a positive impact in their communities through reuse.
Site visits are open to everyone, attendance at REUSE25 is not required. However, we encourage you to join us for the full conference experience! Conference registration is separate and can be completed here.
You’re welcome to sign up for multiple visits if your schedule allows, but we kindly ask that you stay for the full duration of each session rather than leaving early for another. The cost to attend is $15 per person, and space is limited!
Community impact site visit options
12-1:30pm: Better Futures | 2620 Minnehaha Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN
Visit Better Futures Minnesota’s 17,000-square-foot ReUse Warehouse, filled with quality building materials and home improvement items—similar to what you’d find in a big-box store, but all reused.
During the tour, you’ll also learn how Better Futures supports men in rebuilding their lives through job training and workforce development as part of its mission to create environmental and social impact.

12-1:30pm: Bridging (Plymouth location) | 12864 Hwy 55 Plymouth, MN 55441
Join us for a tour of the newest Bridging location in Plymouth. In addition to locations in Roseville and Bloomington, Bridging has expanded in the Twin Cities to offer a new donation warehouse in the NW part of the cities in order to meet the growing need for their services. Learn how they maximize their resources to provide a basic home package of essentials to 5,500 households every year and save 15 million pounds of beds and furnishings from the landfill every year.

2:30-4pm: SouthWest Metro Lending Library | 2460 Chaska Blvd, Chaska 55318
Join us as we take a look back at the origins and journey of our Library of Things, launched last September. We’ll share some of our proudest accomplishments, a few memorable disasters, and our exciting plans for the future as we continue building a vibrant culture of sharing in the SouthWest Metro—all while working to reduce our environmental impact.

3-4:30pm: Hennepin Restomods | 3417 48th Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429
We will talk about repair and reuse in the automotive world, focusing on classic and vintage vehicles. We'll look at the history of hot rodding and its basis in reuse, and how our 'disposable' society can create opportunity for reuse in improving and updating classic cars and trucks.

3-4:30pm: Ridwell | 2560 Kasota Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55108
Come tour our facility and see how Ridwell helps members waste less by offering curbside and mail in recycling services for hard to recycle items that cities and counties can't normally collect!
We will share how Ridwell is redefining transparency in the recycling industry, our local connections for reuse, and our how our hand sorting process makes that all possible.
