The MPCA is hosting a brief, virtual informational meeting next Tuesday on our latest round of grant funding to support reducing the amount of reusable, recyclable and compostable materials entering landfills in Greater Minnesota communities, benefiting the environment as well as local economies.
The MPCA is offering approximately $1 million in grant funding for projects that increase the efficiency or effectiveness of waste reduction, reuse, recycling, or composting programs.

Applications are due no later than 4:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, through the SWIFT Supplier Portal. Applicants who have any questions regarding this RFP must email questions to grants.pca@state.mn.us, subject line: “Greater Minnesota grant question” no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025. Answers to questions will be posted frequently in the SWIFT Supplier Portal.
