Come find some free new-to-you outdoor gear at the Pope/Douglas Solid Waste Management outdoor gear swap!

Early drop-off of items starting Friday, May 1 until Friday, June 12th.  

You don't need to donate an item to take one.

Accepted Items:

• Camping: tents, backpacks, sleeping bags
• Skiing & snowboarding: bindings, boots, poles, goggles, skiis, snowboards, sleds
• Biking: water bottles, panniers/saddle bags, bags, lights, misc
• Hiking: poles, binoculars, headlamps, flashlights
• Fishing: Working fishing poles, tackle & tackle boxes, fishing line, lures, net, bait buckets
• Garden and yard tools: shovels, trowels, racks, pitchforks, hoses, etc
• Pots & planters: decorative plastic, wood, terracotta, metal
• Books: gardening, plants, landscaping, fishing, hiking, hunting
• Garden art and décor
• Birdhouses & feeders
• Houseplants & seeds

What Not to Bring:

• Oversized items that don’t fit in a vehicle
• Guns, knives or any type of weapons
• Motorized items
• Load-bearing rock climbing equipment
• Helmets
• Items that have been recalled or are damaged as to prevent their intended use
• Hazardous waste, chemicals, fertilizers and pesticides
• Greenhouse ‘single use’ plastic pots and trays
• Broken items
• Fishing hooks that are not secured in packaging
