A Summer into Fall Fashion Show & Pop-up, where Upcyclers and Secondhand Fashion collide to celebrate circular fashion in our community.

Doors: 6pm
Show: 7pm
Shopping: 6-9:30pm

Join us for an evening of celebrating local eco-fashion and wearable art, presented by RETHINK. Runway sets will be curated by local secondhand shops and upcycled designers, interspersed with solo couture trashion-fashion looks to show how far upcycling can push the boundaries of what’s possible. Each ticket includes a seat in the theater for the 360 degree runway show (open seating, so show up early if you want to sit with friends), and access to the pop-up before and after the show, where you can shop the runway and meet the artists.

Sliding scale pricing. It is very important to us to keep this show accessible. Please select the price that meets your needs. Purchase your ticket here.

*If you need wheelchair seating and a companion seat, you will be prompted with a question after checkout. If for some reason you don't see this, please email fullcirclefashionmn@gmail.com so we can get that reserved for you!

What is Circular fashion?

Circular Fashion is a regenerative system where garments are designed, produced, and used to maximize their lifespan, ensuring they are reused, repaired, or recycled rather than discarded. Garments were previously made with the understanding that you would take care of them, mend them, and hand them down. Fast fashion has driven us into a disposable fashion cycle and it’s time to break that cycle and come full circle back to the way things were. In Full Circle Fashion, we celebrate the secondhand shops that do the work of sorting, cleaning, and recirculating, and the upcyclers that break down and transform damaged garments to get them back into circulation. Full Circle Fashion aims to show and support the many faces of circular fashion in our community, merging artists and small business owners from the local reuse, theater, and fashion industries.

The Pop-Up before and after the show will give attendees the chance to shop the upcycled designers and local secondhand shops featured in the show. Items available for purchase will range from thrift store pricing to couture, one of a kind pieces. We hope those who attend and shop the pop-up begin to feel more comfortable with what goes into creating an upcycled handmade garment, or curating a secondhand store, and understand how pricing reflects that labor. During the pop-up, we will encourage conversations surrounding slow fashion, circularity, and the importance of investing in pieces that will bring long-lasting fulfillment and wearability so that mending is a priority.
